  • Phase IV: Chimney-geddon

I’ve been hard at work in Arthur’s Crossing, finishing up the cities expansion.  My plan to give every building a real smoking chimney (using a campfire) has gotten a bit out of hand.  It looks really realistic though!

Progress has been made around the west side of the city, where I added a neighborhood of smaller buildings.  Its also the sketchy part of town, as it contains a seed tavern and a brothel half-masquerading as a hostel.

  • Phase IV: Progress

I’ve been hard at work the last week in Arthur’s Crossing.  I’ve overhauled the older sections of the city, adding buildings and what-not.  I laid out where the outer wall will eventually go, but haven’t built it yet.

I tore down the old schoolhouse (it was small, and kinda ugly).  I kept the tower (added a clock) and the area became Tower Square, the center of the growing city.

I also added a new square, school, and some religious buildings.  There’s also a neat looking greenhouse, and a large hotel.

  • Arthur’s Crossing: Progress Starts

I finally found the motivation to sit down and start building in Arthur’s Crossing. I’ve been looking at it and planning things out for over a week now, so it was about time.

I started by expanding the tiny meetinghouse into a proper Hall.  It still needs work on the inside, but hey – its progress.

This city is also going to look amazing with all the chimney’s having real smoke from campfires when I’m done!

  • Arthur’s Crossing: Phase IV Begins

I’ve been trying to get back into Minecraft lately, and I finally found my project. I realized it has been a year and a half since I built the last phase of Arthur’s Crossing, and I’m well overdue for working on the next phase.

Phase IV (yes, the first three were numbers, now I’m using roman numerals) will consist of expanding the town into a city, and overhauling some of the older sections to have larger, denser buildings.

I’ve started planning some things out, and put down a placeholder for where the new outer wall will be.
